30 days of reading, hearing, and speaking God’s truth into our lives; I will Follow!

Welcome to day 30, our last day together.

Thank you all so much for being part of this journey. My spirit has been renewed, my hunger intensified, and excitement restored. I have once again been reminded that His mercies are new every morning! My hope is that you feel the same!

Today’s topic is more of an action, a commitment…….

I will Follow…..

Our time is our greatest commodity. We only have so much. It cannot be purchased. Once it is spent, it is gone. My biggest fear in life, is to look back and see that I misused it, wasted it. My biggest fear in life, is to regret having the courage to say YES to Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life! He is worthy of our YES!

There is no greater reward than Him. Therefore, the best decision we can make in regards to our greatest asset; time, is to give it to Him.

Verse of the day!

Matthew 16:24

As we spend time with our Savior, He changes us. He begins to lead us, giving us opportunities big and small, to say YES.

When I look at the many heroic men of the bible, they all have one thing in common. They ALL said YES! They all chose to follow God’s lead. These men made the decision to exercise their faith, to trust not in the seen, but the unseen.

Victory and blessing in our lives always points back to obedience to God.

The Bible says,

and you return to the LORD your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons (Deuteronomy 30:2).

Then the LORD your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for the LORD will again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers; if you obey the LORD your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and soul (Deuteronomy 30:9-10).

God longs to pour out His blessing on us. He looks for those of us who are willing. His desire is to bless His people, set us apart. He is looking to use any willing vessel (you and me), to be witnesses to the world of who HE is. He wants to demonstrate to the world through his people that He is the ONLY MOST HIGH GOD. His purpose is to bring his lost creation back to Himself. He does this everyday through those that are willing.

God created Adam and Eve for His pleasure. He blessed them abundantly. It was their disobedience that brought about sin. Which tells us, that obedience is very important to Him. And without it, we too, will fall prey to sin.

Just a few of the men that were not perfect, but followed God’s lead!

Moses, Joseph, Joshua, Noah, Solomon, Esther, Abraham, Jacob and many more.

God longs us to bless us! His greatest desire is to teach us, change us, and help us say Yes to all the things He has purposed for our lives!

Join me in saying YES! Join me in praying that God would help us BE ALL that created us to be!

Thanks again dear friends for being here the last 30 days! You have been a blessing to me!

30 days of reading, hearing, and speaking God’s truth into our lives; dismantling fear, doubt, and lies.

 Welcome to day 9!

We are totally rocking this! And I pray that God is blessing you abundantly as you press in to Him. He wants to meet us every day and pour into us more blessing, life, and abundance. That thrills my heart!

There is nothing better than seeing hearts grow fonder of Jesus, our Lord, and the transformation that comes from it! Which brings me to today’s topic, GRACE!

Oh, how I love this word, and all it has done for me!

Grace: the free and unmerited favor of God, manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.

Unmerited: not deserved.

Manifested: to display, show, demonstrate by One’s acts.

That is the heart of our God, and His Son Jesus Christ. God is love! He can only operate out of love, because that is who He is.

Verse of the day!

Hebrews 4:16

God in His awesomeness has bestowed upon me much grace, which I am forever thankful for. It is His grace that wins my heart and birth’s in me a desire for more of Him. I have blown it so many times. He has yet, to stop pursuing me.

Many  of God’s people in the bible blew it big time at their own expense, as well as the expense of others. God showed them Grace, and restored them!

Samson- a nazirite, chosen by God from birth, disobeyed God giving into his lust!  After much vexing, Samson told Delilah the source of his strength. Samson was taken captive by the philistines lost his strength, his eyesight, God’s blessing, and suffered the consequences of his sin. God in His mercy showed him favor and redeemed him. Samson cried out to God, and God gave him strength one last time allowing him to kill many philistines. Samson killed  more men in the temple at his time of death, than in his whole life, because of God’s grace. (Judges 16).

Jonah- blatantly disobeyed God (sound familiar?) chose to go to Tarshish on a ship, avoiding God’s institution to go preach to the city of Nineveh. God could have ended his life there, but He didn’t. First, out of love for Jonah, God got his attention.  Then, He gave Him another chance! Our God is full of grace (Book of Jonah).

Grace and restoration is His exact plan for your heart and mine!

If you are being blessed and what to bless someone you know! Share it, PIN IT! There, the blessing keeps going!

There is nothing we can do, or have done that is to ugly for God. We confess to Him, ask for forgiveness and it’s a done deal! Forgiven, end of story. The consequences of our actions may play out differently, but God’s forgiveness is immediate.

If something in your life is eating away at you, and you have confessed before the Lord, asking for his forgiveness. Know that the guilt and shame you carry is not of God, but your adversary.

God’s word says,

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Say yes to God’s grace and live freely! Let Him carry your burdens, and trust Him with them. He came to give grace, and abundantly!

Praying for you all dear friends,

p.s. keep praying for me!
